“Kofi Kinaata Keep Rejecting My Collaboration Proposals” – Ayesem Says

Ayesem, the hip-life/hip-hop artist, has stated that he will never seek Kofi Kinaata for a collaboration again since Kinaata has repeatedly denied him.

In an exclusive interview with Nana Adwoa Arthur on Connect FM's afternoon drive-time show “Yenko fie,” the rapper said that his attempt to get Kofi Kinaata to appear on a song was unsuccessful.

Kofi Kinaata is like a sibling to me.” We've been friends for a long time. I've offered him tracks for cooperation, but he hasn't responded positively.

“I sent him my song, ‘Fantiaa na Meka,' before it was released. He liked the song a lot. Collaboration, as I have stated, should be reciprocal. He even had some suggestions for how we could go about it, but I never heard from him again. ” Ayesem told the story.

Ayesem continued his experience. “I heard him mention someplace that I didn't approach him the appropriate way.” He didn't even call me or my management when he needed me for his “Made in Taadi” show. He left me a phone message ordering me to cancel my gigs in order to attend his. I'm not sure how he wants me to approach him because we joked about it.

“I phoned him in 2019 when COVID was at its pinnacle for the same reason, and he informed me he'd disassembled his studio due to COVID.” When the dust settled, he pledged to come through for me. I'm not sure if he'll contact me right now or later.

So I've made a promise to myself that I won't call Kofi Kinaata for another cooperation. Whether or not the partnership happens, I'm still Ayesem. I don't need him to make it because I wrote the song that made me feel alone in the first place. “No one came to my aid,” Ayesem concluded.
