“I Feel Inspired Whenever I’m Addressed As A Two Time Grammy Nominated Artiste” – Rocky Dawuni (Video)

Legendary Ghanaian reggae star, Rocky Dawuni, has revealed how he feels when he is being addressed as a “two-time Grammy-nominated” artist. He made this known in an interview with award-winning blogger, Ameyaw Debrah.

He was asked by Ameya Debrah to describe his feelings when people call him a Grammy-nominated artiste. Rocky Dawuni revealed this was a mouthful for him, but when you are a musician and you work hard and always look for people to embrace your music, and you have a global platform with a diverse group of people, that level of excellence in your work makes you feel inspired, validated, and enjoy the moment, he said.

He concluded by saying he knew it was the dream of every Ghanaian child doing music in Ghana.

As a reminder, Rocky Dawuni was named one of the finest Global Albums of the year by the 2022 Grammy Awards. With his 2020 EP, the Voice Of BunBon, Volume 1, Rocky Dawuni got nominated for this prestigious award.

This is the reggae artist's second Grammy nomination, with his first coming in 2015 for the album Branches Of The Same Tree.
