“The Dollar Has Arrested Bawumia, He’s Nowhere To Be Found” – Mahama
John Dramani Mahama has expressed concerns regarding Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's whereabouts at a time when the country is experiencing economic and social distress.
According to him, the cedi appears to have detained Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia since the country's misery has reached a level never seen in the country's fourth republic's 30-year history.
The former President voiced great worry over recent increases in petrol costs and the pricing of other commodities on the market during the launch of the TEIN App on Monday at the UPSA Auditorium in Accra.
“Daily price hikes, gasoline price modifications, and a nose-diving currency have rather arrested the person who claimed to have arrested it.” He's been detained by the dollar. So we've been hunting for him but haven't been able to locate him. According to Starrfmonline.com, he said, “We'll ask the IGP if he has the key so we can figure out where our Vice President is.”
According to John Mahama, the Akufo-Addo government has thrown the country into chaos after promising enticing programs.
“We have come together at a time when our country is experiencing economic and social difficulties. The Akufo-Addo-led administration, which came to office on the basis of mouth-watering promises to improve Ghanaians' lives and assure the country's speedy progress, has mishandled the economy horribly. We are in the midst of the most crippling economic catastrophe in our four-decade history. ” “Indeed, we all recall those mouth-watering promises,” he said, “including one by the incumbent President to transform our country, Ghana, within 18 months.”
