“I Will Walk Barefoot From Accra To Lagos With My Ginger On My Head If Ghana Lose Today” – John Dumelo Vows

Ghanaian actor, politician, and farmer, John Dumelo has vowed to walk barefooted from the capital of Ghana to the capital of Nigeria if the super eagles of Nigeria are able to defeat the black stars of Ghana today at the Baba Yara sports stadium.

Both teams do not want to lose and be mocked by the opposing team. On Twitter, there has been back and forth between supporters of both teams.

Meanwhile, the last time these two nations met was in 2011, but games between them date back to 1950. Across all competitions, Ghana and Nigeria have met 56 times. The Black Stars have won 25 games, while the Super Eagles won 12, and the other 19 games concluded in a tie.

Nigeria has never had much luck playing Ghana away from home, as they have lost 16 times whenever a West African foe hosts them. The draw will be at the end of round six.

Out of the 23 occasions Ghana has hosted, Nigeria has only won once.
