Black Sherif and Sonnie Badu

UK-based Ghanaian gospel music musician and preacher, , has lauded young Trapster Ismail Sherif Frimpong for his hard work and for breaking through to the Nigerian market.

The gospel singer praised the now King of the Street for his dedicated efforts in an instagram post on his verified page, in which he revealed that he knows how the Nigerian music market works, but it is difficult to break into if you are not one of their own.

In his own words, wrote:

Breaking through the borders of Nigeria with music is not a joke. I've been here over 10 years and Nigeria is home for me when it comes to music.

I am very proud of you @blacksherif_ your music is a breath of fresh air. Remain humble and focused, come up with more bars and stay clean. Hopefully you can win a Grammy for Ghana music sometime in the future.
