KiDi has said that his family has given him permission to continue in his music profession after completing his studies.

In an interview with Joy FM's Showbiz A to Z on Saturday, the Touch it hitmaker said that he had to cry and act dramatically to persuade his family to let him follow his musical dreams.

When the “Touch it” singer's tears reached his family, he was given a year to create something of his music or forfeit everything and get a white-collar job.

“I wept and summoned another family meeting.It was a modest way for me to get my way… At the time, he had a punk haircut and said if they wanted me to work in an office and never be happy in my life, I'd cut my hair and wear a suit, and they agreed.
