Andre Ayew, the captain of the Black Stars, claims he is just concentrating on the 2022 FIFA World Cup, despite reports that he will be playing his final international tournament in Qatar.

Following his success with the Black Satellites in 2009, when they won the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations as well as the World Cup, Ayew was promoted to the senior team and was part of Ghana’s World Cup squads in 2010 and 2014.

Following Ghana’s qualifying for the Mundial at the cost of Nigeria, many have speculated that the striker might be playing in his final World Cup with the Black Stars at the age of 32.

However, the athlete has not ruled out the potential of continuing to play in the future if he maintains his current form.

When asked if Qatar would be his final World Cup, Ayew replied, “I’m not looking any further than what’s coming.”
