Growing up, Ghanaian afrobeat sensation and legendary Nana Acheampong’s daughter, Jackline Acheampong, also known as Gyakie, revealed she never imagined herself as a musician.
Speaking in a zoom interview on Joy Prime’s Showbiz Now, the songstress revealed she wanted to be an entrepreneur but never thought of becoming a musician.
When I was a child, as every child wanted to become a doctor, lawyer, etc.
, I thought of that too, but when I was in high school, I wanted to become an entrepreneur, a business mogul, she revealed.
Adding it all up, she revealed that her mother saw the music dream she didn’t. She revealed that her mum used to call her to sing or her friends when they visited, but she never paid attention to how powerful her voice was.
