VGMA23: Gambo Wins Unsung Act Of The Year

Bashir Annan, better known as Gambo, a Ghanaian rapper and songwriter, has been named songwriter of the year at the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards are currently being held at the Grande Arena of the Conference Center in Accra for the 23rd time.

On Friday, May 6, 2022, the first set of honors under the Industry Awards night will take center stage as part of what is projected to be Ghana's biggest music weekend.

Artists, songwriters, beat-makers, music producers, instrumentalists, and other stakeholders in the Ghanaian music business will be honored and celebrated at the VGMAs.

At the 2023 VGMA awards, the ‘No Stress' singer was named the winner of the unsung act of the year.
