Isaac Kwesi Ackon, the kind taxi driver who returned the money he found in his cab to its rightful owner, has garnered not only national acclaim but also gifts.

The 37-year-old taxi driver, identified as Isaac Kwesi Ackon became a viral sensation after he returned an amount of 8k to poor market women.

The woman, a fishmonger at Mallam Attah Market, had accidentally left the money in his car but God is so good, the honest taxi driver decided to return it.

Following this, the Vice President gifted Kwesi Ackon with tokens of gratitude, thanking him for being a good citizen. The reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year, KiDi also gave him GHC5,000 to appreciate him.

Now, legendary Ghanaian football star, Asamoah Gyan, has joined benevolent Ghanaians to donate an amount of GH¢10K to acknowledge the taxi driver.

In a video going viral on social media, a lady who made the donation on behalf of the Asamoah Gyan Foundation said it was a token from the footballer to show appreciation.

She stated in the local Akan language that the ex-football star is touched by the integrity displayed by the taxi driver and so decided to gift him that amount.
