Prince David Osei and Akufo Addo

A Ghanaian actor, , has issued a stern warning to President and his government over the E-levy.

According to the actor, there would be an issue if the government fails to offer required development, stabilize the economy, and improve the country’s GDP.

Speaking in an interview with Ameyaw Debrah, Prince David Osei, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) sympathizer, said, “The reaction hasn’t been great, people are grumbling, I’m complaining, but all I’m saying is whatever tariffs and cash we take, I just hope we put it to better use.” Change people’s life”

“It shouldn’t be only about collecting taxes, since the level of life is the same. Whatever taxes… It’s not easy, the globe is in crisis, and the global economy is in crisis, so let’s examine the proof. Let it show”, he added.

Prince David Osei said, “It can’t be yes or no. As I remarked a few days ago, “if we don’t see a quick rise in the quality of life, an improvement in the economy, the cedi stabilizing versus other currencies, and a larger GDP, there would be a problem, therefore I don’t know whether to say yes or no”.

The Electronic Levy imposed by the government was derided. The funds will be used for national development by the government.
