It seems the reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year, KiDi, is not happy about how some Ghanaians troll musicians on social media.
According to KiDi, musicians go through a series of phases before releasing their work to the public, but people often assume that the job is simple, thus they should be harsh and rude in their critique.
KiDi said in an interview with Bliss Kingg on Starr FM that musicians need to compartmentalize their brains to put bad energy and thoughts away and open up for positivity in order to be creative with their trade.
However, he becomes frustrated when their hard work is received with harsh and insensitive comments on social media by some of their fans who ignore the efforts they had to put into their job.
“A lot of people are not even good at their day jobs yet they will come and sit on social media and be telling artistes what to do”, KiDi says.
