Shatta Wale has voiced his dissatisfaction with his colleagues and Ghanaian music industry players for reluctantly allowing Nigerians to take the lead in music.
In a self-recorded video, the dancehall artist chastised Ghanaian musicians for failing to follow his advice of creating one music genre in Ghana that can be tied to all music works in Ghana.
He bemoaned the fact that the Nigerian music industry learned the majority of its musical expertise from Ghanaians and has since been regarded as one of the greatest in the world, putting Ghana at the bottom of the list.
Shatta Wale, who seemed inebriated in the video, warned that the Ghanaian music industry would continue to suffer and die because they failed to follow his plan and recommendations to raise the Ghanaian music industry through the highlife music genre.
