A number of individuals flooded social media with the term “Jesus” prominently scrawled in red just a few hours ago.

Many individuals have been curious as to why the name is trending on Twitter.

Nathaniel Bassey, a gospel minister, established the trend “#Jesus” and encouraged his followers to follow suit on social media. In part, his post reads:

“…Let the world ask what is going on. and we’ll tell them – Jesus is going on!
