Sonnie Balli and Yaa Pono

In an interview, Ghanaian rapper stated that in his next life, he will collaborate on a song with late dancehall artist Sonni Balli.

While paying tribute to the late musician the “Obia Wone Master” hitmaker vowed that he will feature him in his next life on earth.

He said during an interview with Hammer Nti on Pure FM.

Sonni Balli was reported dead on Thursday, June 9th, 2022. The musician was claimed to have died as a result of a heart attack.

Many Ghanaian singers, including Stonebwoy, , and Samini, paid respect to the phenomenal singer on social media, recalling his contributions to the Ghanaian music industry.

In his tribute, Yaa Pono stated his wish to collaborate with the late singer in his next life on Earth.

In other news, Yaa Pono revealed that he regrets replying to dancehall artist Shatta Wale during their musical clash in 2017.

Recall, Shatta Wale, a dancehall musician, and rapper Yaa Pono had a big dispute in 2017 after engaging in a strong musical debate.

Shatta Wale released a diss song for Yaa Pono in which he insulted him. A few days after releasing a diss track for Yaa Pono, he returned with Gbee Nabu, one of the most popular and contentious diss songs.

Yaa Pono brought Michy, Shatta Wale’s then-girlfriend, into the feud, questioning her if their kid “Majesty” was the dancehall artist’s biological child. This phrase in Yaa Pono’s diss song sparked debate and caused many individuals to speak out.
