Kidi, a Lynx Entertainment signee, has described how his family put pressure on him to further his musical career by giving him a one-year deadline.
The famous singer said that while combining a corporate job with his music, he was under a lot of pressure from his record label, his family, and his national service work in an interview on the “Deep Throat Convo” on Twitter Space with @OleleSalvador.
KiDi stated that he had hoped to be the one to transform Ghanaian R&B music, but that Lynx Entertainment, his record label, had different ideas and wanted him to blend his R&B sounds with local sounds in Ghana.
He admitted that he also felt a lot of pressure from his job because he constantly had to report to work in the morning, work until closing, and then return to the studio to be ready for the next morning.
But he was given a year to succeed in his music profession or he would have to return to school to finish his studies.
We can claim that Kidi never let his family down since he was able to find his true self and advance his music career.
