All teachers who are on strike must be sacked — Nana Yeboah
The government should fire all teachers who have gone on strike to demand a Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) for their employment, according to Kumawood actress Nana Yeboah.
The comedian claims that the demands of the teachers are superfluous because they were already paid in full during the COVID-19 shutdown, when schoolwork was suspended for months.
Nana Yeboah referred to the striking teachers as ungrateful and demanded that everyone participating be fired.
Four teacher unions called a nationwide strike on Monday, July 4, 2022, to put pressure on the government to pay their stipend.
The instructors justified their move by pointing to the challenging economic climate and growing cost of living.
