Ruger reveals the secrete why he wears an Eyepatch in his left eyes

Ruger, a singer who goes by the stage name Michael Olayinka, has explained why he usually covers his left eye with a black patch.

An eyepatch is, technically speaking, a patch worn to cover a hurt eye.

Recall that in 2021, a photo of Ruger without his eyepatch went viral, proving that the singer is not blind as many people believe.

Ruger revealed the real reason he covers his left eye in an interview on Sunday.

The musician claims that the patch is solely his trademark. In his own words:

“It's my trademark.”

The 22-year-old remarked of his most unforgettable experiences:

“My most memorable moment as a singer was the first time my song, Bounce, got to the number one spot on the Apple Music Nigeria Top 100 Chart in Nigeria in 2021.

“That was very memorable for me. I recall that I was at the airport when I got the news. I was very happy.”
