Jackie Appiah, a Ghanaian actress, has advised young people to enjoy life slowly and not rush to get riches.
Some young people, according to Jackie, desire to drive the newest cars without putting in the effort necessary to fulfill such aspirations.
She pointed out that as life is a journey, one must begin someplace before arriving at their ideal location. She warned young people not to rush to become rich and to start small because Rome was not built in a day.
Jackie spoke with a worried expression on her face. She asserts that the desire among young people to get wealthy quickly has grown widespread.
She used herself and her successful colleagues as examples and said that things were not always simple for them. To achieve where they are now, they had to put in a lot of effort. She continued by using an analogy and saying:
“When you look at a little baby, it does not just get up and walk it starts crawling before it gradually starts to walk”
