Popular Nigerian musician Kizz Daniel is said to have neglected to show up for his August 7 concert in Tanzania, further alienating his fan base.
One of the event’s organizers, Samwel Masaki, had tweeted that the artist had arrived in the nation for a performance at the nearby old Arena.
He tweeted pictures of Kizz Daniel and his team at the airport along with the message, “@kizzdaniel has touched down Tanzania!” Tonight, we amplify at Warehouse TZ (Old Next Arena).
According to reports, the “Buga” singer lost his suitcase in Uganda and turned down the opportunity to perform because he didn’t want to wear borrowed clothing.
This outraged his devoted followers, who flocked to the concert in droves and paid up to $5,000 for a table. They started throwing things at the stage and wrecking the place.
A video that has gone viral online captures the moment the incensed fans erupted at the venue.
