Sarkodie can’t face me in a rap battle – Gospel musician Mr Music Mensah brags

Ghanaian musician Mr. Music Mensah, born Lawrence Mensah has said he has what it takes to battle Sarkodie when it comes to rap.

According to him, his talent goes beyond his specific genre, adding that, he cuts across all genres which makes him a better musician.

Speaking in an interview with Ohemaa Woyeje on Angel FM, Mr Mensah said, “I don't do one genre. I'm a musician. I'm the music so I do all genres. Even when it comes to rap, I'll do better than Sarkodie”.

Born Lawrence Mensah to Ghanaian parents in the gold-rich region of Ashanti, Mr Music rose from the humble beginnings of following the popular musical bands of his childhood days and the harmonious choral performances of nearby churches, notably the St Peter's Cathedral Church Choir in Kumasi, Ghana to an artist of world renown.
