When people attack me and I respond, then I become a bad person – Shatta Wale
According to Shatta Wale’s argument with Bulldog, if he goes on the attack to defend himself when he is attacked first, he is always labeled the villain.
This comes after his claims that Nana Asiamah, also known as Bullgod, plotted the assassination of music manager Fennec Okyere.
Then he disclosed that he had an unusual phone conversation with the Inspector-General of the Police during which he had requested that he check into security violations in the entertainment sector.
In an interview with Captain Smart on Onua Maakye, which aired on TV3, Shatta Wale revealed his irritation at the speed at which people are ruining his reputation.
He made the observation that Ghanaians remain silent when someone attacks him and criticize him when he strikes back.
“What I really want Ghanaians to understand is that people grow in life. They should stop turning a blind eye to people who attack me. But if I respond, then I become a bad person.
I have discussed the necessity for security in our entertainment sector with the IGP because it is becoming too much. Most of the time, I will be at home and watch people disparaging Shatta Wale and the name on TV and YouTube.
It’s all defamation of character. If I say I will take those people on, I believe people will say I am even more wicked than what is happening now. I want people to know that I’m tired. It’s too much for me now.”
