Marriage, also called matrimony or wedlock, according to Wikipedia, is a culturally and often legally recognized union between people called spouses. It establishes rights and obligations between them, as well as between them and their children and between them and their in-laws.
But Ghanaian popular media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, better known as Delay, has brought up an argument saying marriage is supposed to make both parties happier, but when one is not happy, it becomes a bondage even after going through the necessary rights and obligations to get to where they have gotten to.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote:
It’s not marriage again when both parties are not happy. That’s bondage!
