Why Did The Coach Even Have To Bring In Jordan Ayew – Medikal Asks
According to a video posted online by Ghanaian rapper Medikal, the Black Stars’ inaugural World Cup match against Portugal was lost because Jordan Ayew was substituted in during the second half.
The rapper said that Jordan’s entry led to the squad giving up two of the three goals they had originally planned.
After playing a scoreless first half, the Black Stars fell to Portugal in their opening match of the current FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Cristiano scored a contentious penalty kick to give Portugal the lead in the second half, and Dede Ayew quickly tied the score with a header.
Dede Ayew and Ajax attacker Kudus were replaced after his goal, and Jordan Ayew entered the game.
In the two minutes following his introduction, Ghana allowed a second and a third goal.
Otto Addo, the head coach of the Black Stars, has accused the referee of giving Ronaldo the opening goal, a contentious penalty in the 65th minute.
