Football fans have taken Ghanaian musician Jupitar DeGeneral to the cleaners for disputing Thomas Partey’s interest in playing for Ghana at the World Cup in Qatar.
Many Ghanaians have expressed concern that the Arsenal midfielder goes all out for his Premier League club but appears sluggish when he plays for his country.
Critics claim that Thomas Partey makes it appear as if he was forced to represent the senior national team. Jupiter appears to have similar feelings.
Jupitar took to Twitter to criticize Thomas Partry for his perceived poor performance, writing, “As for partey, it appears he has no interest playing for Ghana.”
Jupitar’s tweet appears to have irritated some Partey fans, who have taken to social media to mock the music over his career.
Following the publication of GHPage’s stance, reactions to the dancehall artiste’s stance have all been negative.
Rafiq Ibn Dickson: He should concentrate on his dead career and leave football alone.. if anybody should be talking, it should be serious musicians not overrated dormant musicians like him.
Amg Waddleba: Are you serious as a musical artists either allo dancehall musician….
Nana Kwabena Dorku: Cos you dey bench in the music industry you wan mek Partey too dey bench ong
