Hip-hop musician Lukeman Ekow Baidoo, often known as Teephlow, from Ghana has joined the chorus of Ghanaians hailing Lawrence Ati Zigi for his outstanding saves against South Korea, which helped Ghana win three.
The nation's sinking cedi versus important international currencies like the US dollar, in Teephlow's opinion, may be saved by the goalkeeper's ability to make saves.
The celebrated rapper said on his Facebook page on Tuesday, November 29, saying:
But on a lighter side, Ati Zigi can save the Cedi ooo, let's use him well. Super talent, well done bro.”
The Ghana Black Stars goalie Lawrence Atizigi was perhaps the subject of the most conversation during Ghana's match versus South Korea on Monday, November 28 at the Education City Stadium.
Gue Song Cho beat the 25-year-old twice, but he bounced back and avoided the South Koreans' other strikes.
The Stars defeated their Asian opponents 3-2 to halt their five-game losing streak in FIFA World Cup games since being defeated by Uruguay in the South Africa 2014 World Cup quarterfinals.
