Mohammed Kudus, Ghana’s newest soccer sensation, has scored another significant victory after being named Man of the Match in the Black Stars’ second group game against South Korea in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
In order to honor the 22-year-old forward, an Accra-based artist named Moh Awudu painted a mural of his face at Nima in Accra.
Immediately following Ghana’s triumph over South Korea on November 28, 2022, Awudu revealed his plans on Facebook.
He started the project as planned early on November 30, 2022, a Wednesday.
Awudu expects that Kudus’ confidence will increase as a result of the artwork, leading to more goals scored and more victories for Ghana.
