Uruguay took the lead with two goals to zero to end the third group game for the Ghana Black Stars.
Mohammed Kudus was fouled in the 18-yard box prior to the first goal and the second goal, earning the Ghanaian National team a penalty.
Andre Dede Ayew, the Black Stars' captain, attempted to score for Ghana with the penalty kick, but Uruguay's goalkeeper saved it. Since then, his miss has angered Ghanaian soccer fans.
Serwaa Amihere, the Gh One TV host, expressed her disappointment by requesting that the Ghanaian player remain in Qatar.
Taking to Twitter, he said:
“Dede Ayew should stay in Qatar.” Are you kidding me? He looked too relaxed for that penalty.“
