Those who have been following hiplife in Ghana rap music will be familiar with how the Ghanaian rap scene transitioned from being King by the originator of hiplife, Reggie Rockstone, to Obrafour, then to the rapping rap act and the man dubbed the greatest ever to grace the Ghanaian rap scene, Michael Owusu Addo, better known as Sarkodie.
There is a new sensation on the block, Sherif Ismail Mohammed, better known as Black Sherif, who is equally moving at the fast rate at which Sarkodie moved when he began his rap career, making a Twitter influencer with the user name @the_marcolu_boy to say that Blacko will become even bigger than Sarkodie since Sarkodie also took the mantle from Obrofaour.
Taking to Twitter, the influencer wrote:
Sarkodie is now bigger than Obrafour but we are not allowed to predict Blacko will be bigger than Obidi because my man Sark came 1st? Hypocrites lmao
