At Age 11, I Was Smoking Marijuana – Prophet Nigel Gaisie Reveals
The founder of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has acknowledged that before receiving a revelation from God, he used marijuana from the age of 11 to 13.
He told GTV that a more mature guy who regularly accompanied them to the Odorna River and its environs was the one who first introduced him to smoking.
But one day, a kelewele seller offered to give him the meal in exchange for his consent to go to church with her.
He said:
“I started using marijuana when I was 13, 12, and 11 years old. I learned about it from a man named Anokye. When we got out of school, he would take us to the Odorna Railway and expose us to terrible stuff, so I started using marijuana. I grew up without a father and was solely cared for by my mother.
“So I went to get marijuana one of those days, but I was also hungry, so I went to purchase kelewele.” The seller of the kelewele pleaded with Kwabena to come that evening so she could take him to church and give him the kelewele for free. She thus gave me the kelewele for free, and I went to church, where I met Apostle Kofi Afriyie Amoako, a man of God who is now my spiritual father and resides in the United Kingdom.
He beckoned me from the rear and stated, “Look at that young boy who is seated at the back.” I went to sit at the far end, and immediately I was really high.
“God's hand is on the speaker right now, right now. He stated my name even though he didn't know me. I was addressed as Kwabena Ali, and when he said the name of my mother, Abena Grace, I appreciated and adored it, and the rest is history.
