On Sunday, January 15, 2023, Bella Mundi appeared on The Day Show on TV3. Throughout the evening, Michy's music was the main topic of conversation as she discussed her musical beginnings and her musical influences.
Michy disclosed that her former fiancé, Shatta Wale, saw her musical potential and inspired her to start her career. Michy said that before meeting Shatta Wale, she was a very shy person who gradually gained more self-assurance.
Further discussion on Shatta was had, and when the host asked his son Majesty who the finest musician in Ghana was, Majesty responded with Shatta Michy.
Bella Mundi pressed him further, asking if Shatta Wale was among the world's greatest artists. He said that it was really his mother. Majesty responded when asked if he knew Shatta Wale.”Yes, he's my father,” Bella Mundi said in an irate manner, startling her.
It was unclear from Majesty's behavior and responses when Shatta Wale's name was mentioned whether Michy had any influence over his contempt for his father.
