Stonebwoy Is Very Considerate When Charging For Events – Event Organizer
According to businessman and event organizer Papa Loggy, award-winning reggae and dancehall artist Stonebwoy is the only musician in Ghana who has the best interests of event organizers in mind and does not treat them harshly when it comes to billing for performances.
As the CEO of Loggy Travel and Tours and Loggy Entertainment, Prince Nana Boakye Yiadom, also known as Papa Loggy in the entertainment industry, was in charge of planning Stonebwoy‘s 2023 Berekum debut concert, “A Night in Berekum With Stonebwoy,” which was staged by Nish Entertainment, a Berekum-based event management company.
Papa Loggy explained why he would never hesitate to help the “Take Me Away” hitmaker in an interview with Joy Prime’s broadcast journalist, Ibrahim Ben Bako (IB), after the concert on January 14 that was a success and sold out. He claimed that the dancehall act is very considerate when charging for a show.
If I approach you and say, “I think your fans out there miss you,” Let’s do something to get you closer to your fans while also making money and entertaining the audience, and if you quote prices that say, “When I invest, I will make more money; I won’t risk it,” you can bet I won’t.
“Some musicians have irrational expectations. If Stonebwoy phones, I will answer him no matter where I am since he is such a decent artist. When it comes to events, he is constantly considerate. Other artists don’t charge the fees Stonebwoy does from some of us, the organizers, yet when it comes to music selection, Stonebwoy has a far larger catalog than other artists.
