It’s Very Difficult Managing Musicians – Bulldog
Bulldog, the well-known artist manager, has claimed that skill alone would not bring success to any gifted individual unless it was supplemented by effective management.
Bulldog made this comment in response to a query on the difficulty of managing artists.
He rubbed his hands together and grinned as he continued, “It's difficult, yet at the same time, it's not.” Rather, he emphasized that “living is challenging.”
He said that because of his stature and expertise, “when I talk, it must be with wisdom.”
He said, “If you had asked me this question ten years ago, I would have answered, “It's difficult.” But what in this life isn't difficult? It could be challenging to even eat or drink. Please excuse me for saying, “You know it's not simple, even when you're having a coital moment.”
He repeated, laughing, “Everything is difficult,” and gave Sammy a high five.
There are difficulties, he noted. I believe it involves controlling egos. He implied that most of the job would be completed if one is skilled at managing egos.
