The father of Ghanaian rapper Teephlow, Mr. Muhammed Baidoo, a retired educator, has passed away.

The artist, who is presently residing in the USA, claims that his father passed away suddenly on January 22, 2023, early in the morning at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Ghana, following a brief illness.


The quantity surveyor-turned-rapper has established a reputation for himself in the Ghanaian music scene and has won several accolades, including the VGMA Record of the Year. Additionally, he has received nominations for other additional prizes across Ghana's award programs.

Through their condolences and support for Teephlow and his family during this trying time, Muhammad Baidoo's followers and the Ghanaian entertainment industry as a whole have responded to the news of his loss.

Although attempts to contact Teephlow have been unsuccessful, his brother and manager Ibrahim Baidoo has provided some information about this tragic incident.

Even though their father had been ailing for a long time, he said that they had not anticipated this. However, it is required of us as Muslims to show gratitude and thankfulness in circumstances like this.
