The Current Movie Industry Is Not Something You Can Solely Depend On – Vicky Zugah

Vicky Zugah, the actress from Ghana, said that actors and actresses need to have additional sources of income because the local film business cannot provide all of their financial support.

Vicky claims that instead of relying entirely on movie parts, she has always advised aspiring actors to search for employment or other professions that may support them financially.

“I will tell a young kid to have another source of income if they contact me to discuss their passion for acting.”

The actress, who works as a television host in addition to being an actor, addressed the declining box office in Ghana’s film industry.

However, she remained optimistic that circumstances would change and actresses and filmmakers might enjoy the better lives they merited in exchange for their contributions.

“The Ghanaian film business nowadays is not something on which you should completely rely.” It could get better, but for the time being, she recommends getting a second job to keep you going.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, she said, “I will advise them to have another job on the side since depending solely on movies is not good because it is not trustworthy.
