Ghanaian rapper Solomon Adu Antwi, best known as Ponobiom, has shared a statement in response to his most recent song, which has been seen as a diss track to Sarkodie, a fellow rapper.

On January 25, Ponobiom’s 2023 single, named “Yard,” was made public after the artist told fans to look forward to yet another song.

Sarkodie was the objective of Pono’s message, as can be heard if you listen to the song carefully.

In his stanza, the rapper said, “Since when did we feature the dead?”

Social media users have reacted to the criticism, with many asking why Pono would attack Sarkodie so soon after his appearance on the late Bob Marley song “Stir It.”

Adding uo to his controversial lyrics that are causing waves, the heavyweight freestylist revealed in a Twitter post that there is no limit to rap music in Ghana.

“No one is the limit 4 gh rap. Not even the gatekeepers can control this, #YARD.
