You Can’t Promote Your Song With Ghc12,000 In Nigeria, It Won’t Reach Anywhere – Camidoh

The normal cost that Nigerians pay to have their music videos shot has been stated by the Ghanaian artist Camidoh.

The singer asserted during a Hitz FM interview that releasing a music video in Nigeria with a very modest budget of Gh12,000 is difficult.

“In Nigeria, you pay around $30,000 to $40,000 on average.” You must plan a release budget of US$50,000 if you wish to be like them.

You cannot release a music video in Nigeria and expect to spend GHC 12,000 on it. Your music will have no effect. “The only way to make money is by investing,” he added.

The performer claims that many musicians are being passed over until they can establish their worth, making reference to the fee Wizkid demanded an event in Ghana that he did not attend.

“What was Wizkid's fee?” He reportedly demanded a fee for the stadium performance. We seem to be being ignored, in my opinion. It starts at the top and moves down.

“You realize you've been marginalizing yourself until you feel like you can make 10,000 cedis a day, or until they open your eyes and you realize you can make 500,000 dollars,” he went on.
