Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, the legend of Ghanaian dancehall music, has expressed his thoughts on why Nigeria has more successful musicians than Ghana.
The Ghanaian artist attributed Nigeria’s successful music industry to its large population in an interview with the Break Fast Club Show in America.
He first credited their population for our Nigerian peers’ achievements before praising their determination. The two aforementioned factors, in Stonebwoy’s opinion, are the main reasons why Nigerian singers are more popular throughout the world than Ghanaian ones.
Stonebwoy followed up with these two well-reasoned comments by praising our local musicians for trying their best while lacking the resources and assistance that Nigerians do.
