In their recent heated battle, Ghanaian artist Kwaw Kese retaliated against Yaa Pono.

According to speculation, Yaa Pono asserted that Kwaw Kese had little influence on up-and-coming artists.

Kwaw Kese claims that Stonebwoy took him under his wing and assisted in the beginning of his musical career while he was still in high school.

He continued by claiming that he was responsible for giving Stonebwoy his first significant break, which was followed by a second significant song.
