The rise of Black Sherif, according to Ghanaian rapper Archipalago, has rendered all musicians in Ghana obsolete.
He claims that Sherif Singer has eclipsed everyone in the industry with his distinctive voice and flair.
Archipalago asserted during an interview with Zion Felix on this uncut show that these musicians are finding it difficult to match the albums and streams that Sherif is receiving.
This, according to Palago, is a perk of being on a record label.
Any musician who is not signed to a powerful record label will not succeed, says Archipalago. He added that Black Sherif's record company, “Black Empire,” is one of the major record companies, which contributed to his success and his entry into the international market while making the other musicians irrelevant.
He said that independent musicians would find it difficult to reach the same levels of success given the “Soja” hitmaker's accomplishments.
Archipalago emphasized that the magic is created by collaborating with record companies.
