Livingstone Etse Satekla, best known by his stage name Stonebwoy, made history by describing African music dynamics and the contradiction that “African males prefer to govern” on New York's Breakfast Club radio show.

The interviewers were equally interested in validating reports about how much money African men spend on their wives during the discussion on the future of African music and other topics.

In a Ghanaian cultural environment, Stonebwoy voiced his ideas as an African guy who had grown up in Africa. “I believe it's a product of our society and upbringing,” he remarked.
