Over the weekend, Stonebwoy attended the 65th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles and had the pleasure of mingling with a number of international performers, including Taylor Swift, Lil Baby, and Fat Joe.

Singer Chase and many other music fans were disappointed when social media users twisted the story to disparage Stonebwoy for connecting with so many foreign musicians.

Twitter users allegedly stated in trending tweets that the Grammy-winning Ghanaian artist had to push his way into meeting celebrities at the Grammys.

Stonebwoy was ridiculed and harassed online, but the singer's supporters and associates have denounced the abuse.

Singer Chase denounced the problems in the local music business in a tweet, noting that it might be challenging to be a Ghanaian at times owing to the lack of support.

“I'm ashamed of some of the tweets I'm reading about Stone and how he's approaching the game and taking advantage of his surroundings. I love Ghana but sometimes is hard being a Ghanaian in the entertainment industry period no tampons,” he tweeted.
