Kwaku Simtim-Misa, often known as KSM, the legendary Ghanaian TV personality, has urged Ghanaians to honor individuals “while they are living” rather than waiting till they have passed away.
KSM expressed concern about the response of some Ghanaians to the news that Christian Atsu was a victim of the earthquake in Turkey that left more than 9,000 dead and tens of thousands injured in a tweet on February 7, 2023, which included the hashtag #celebraetheliving.
He used Asamoah Gyan (Baby Jet), the former captain of the national senior soccer team, the Black Stars, in his argument that it was crucial to give individuals their flowers before they leave.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote:
