CCTV Footage Of How Rapper AKA Was Killed Hits Online

On social media, a 50-second Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) video depicting the shooting death of South African rapper AKA has surfaced.

According to reports from late last week, AKA, born Keirnan Jarryd Forbes, was shot many times by masked assailants outside a well-known restaurant on Florida Road in Durban.

According to the CCTV footage, the rapper exits the restaurant with a group of friends and engages in friendly greetings, including embraces.

While everything is happening, a man wearing a black shirt and a grey hood appears in the lower left corner of the screen. The unnamed man grabs what seems to be a gun, shoots the rapper in the head from behind, and then flees the scene.

The rapper collapsed into a pool of blood as a gunshot rang out, sending onlookers into a frenzy.
