Yesterday was a very sad day for the people of Ghana as we lost one of the Few people ever to grace the national team, who lost his life to an earthquake in Turkey, where he plays club football.
Christian Atsu, however, was retrieved from the rubble yesterday, where he came out lifeless after spending about 5 days in the rubble.
Yesterday, after his death was announced, the ministry of foreign affairs announced that the reigning president of Ghana, Mr. Messi would be in Ghana by yesterday evening, and so it was.
