On the prestigious podcast Drink Champions, Ghanaian-Liberian comedian and philanthropist Michael Blackson announced the launch of his new management company.
Michael Blackson discussed the global Afrobeats explosion before introducing Bashir Annan, aka Gambo, as the man of the hour. He mentioned stars like Davido, Burna Boy, Kizz Daniel, and Wizkid in saying that Nigeria currently has the most prolific artist population.
“Nigeria is like New York of music,” he said of both nations' entertainment sectors, “and Ghana is evolving into Dubai of Africa.”
“Afrobeat is sweeping the globe.” In reality, I founded Michael Balckson Management, my own management firm. As he introduced Gambo, Michael Blackson added, “Now I have one of my first Ghanaian musicians.”
Shatta Wale, Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie are the only four best musicians in Ghana, according to Michael Blackson. With Gambo on his team, he hopes to create Ghana's fifth superstar.
