My Songs Make Presidents Cry – Blakk Rasta Claims
After rubbishing rapper Sarkodie’s verse on Bob Marley’s “stir it up,” the popular reggae music and radio host, Blakk Rasta, is actually doing everything to make people believe he is one of the greatest songwriters to emerge from the Gold Coast.
Contrary to what others have claimed about Blakk Rasta‘s music after he dissed Sarkodie’s verse, he claims that his songs are really profound and have even made presidents cry.
I write songs that get me into trouble. I compose music that causes presidents to cry.
In an interview with Andy Dosty, the controversial radio host claimed that the musician Efya’s claims that he writes humorous songs actually helped boost awareness of the profundity of his songs.
“People started listening to my music and laughing at me when they learned that Blakk Rasta makes funny music.
They played songs and believed they could make fun of Blakk Rasta, only to discover that I am a talented musician, he claimed.
Nonetheless, Blakk Rasta used the occasion to implores people to listen to music based on an artist’s abilities rather than their outward appearance.
