We all remember that a few days after the release of a remix of the late Bob Marley's song “Stir Up” that included Sarkodie, Yaa Pono also produced a song titled “Yard” that many people, including Kwaw Kese, saw as a jab at Sarkodie.
Ponobiom, the rapper, questioned in the song, “Since when do we start featuring the dead?”
This line truly offended the majority of Sarkodie's supporters and caused many tense debates on social media.
The beef god, however, revealed that he has no problem with Sarkodie, contrary to what folks like Kwaw Kese asserted in a recent interview on Kingdom FM. Ponobiom declared, “I'm cool with Sarkodie; we don't have any problems.” Ponobiom said, “Oh no no, I was just doing my music,” in response to the question of whether he was making any reference to Sarkodie in his music. Some of these things will always appear when I write.
