Akua Donkor, the flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), is looking for a male companion who will be the first gentleman of Ghana if she is elected president.
This was disclosed by the presidential candidate who lost her husband two years ago while stating that she is now prepared to try again with marriage. However, Akua Donkor was disqualified from running in the 2016 elections.
Since my husband passed away, I have not remarried. My ring hasn’t been on my finger for the past two years. Being a female politician, I require a partner, so I must get married once more. There comes a time in your political career when your husband’s and your presence will be necessary. “After I gain power, I need a man to become a first gentleman,” she declared.
Akua Donkor stated in an interview with Kofi TV that performing household duties will not be part of her responsibilities as a wife. You won’t get married to me so I can do your cooking and cleaning. Housework will not be my responsibility; that will not take place. All I need is your name.
