I Nearly Became A Prostitute When My Father Died At Age 13 – Veteran Nigerian Actress, Omotola

Veteran Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has acknowledged that she had considered prostitution as a young woman.

This assertion was made by Omotola in a recent conversation with presenter and attorney Chude Jideonwo while sharing a childhood memory.

The seasoned actress stated that after losing her father when she was 13 years old, she felt so desperate that she tried to trade her body.

The seasoned actress revealed a secret portion of her life to her admirers, saying, “When they picked me up from school when I was 13, I sensed something was wrong and prayed that nothing had happened to my dad.”

“When I arrived home, I found out my dad had passed away, and as I went through that mental process, I had no idea how to respond or how I was feeling; I just remained mute, but as I’ve gotten older, I believe I now fully get everything.

I’m so sure of myself and don’t fear anyone that nothing they say to me can affect me. I don’t worry about my safety; if I had became a prostitute today, I probably would have.

In my last-ditch effort to accomplish anything, I declared that I would rather sell my body than allow someone to dismember my younger brother.
